SorteCalc

Terms of Use

Your agreement with SorteCalc

Last updated: 17 August 2026

By accessing SorteCalc you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. SorteCalc is an educational calculator and publishing project — not a casino, sportsbook, or wagering service.

1. The service

SorteCalc provides free online calculators (poker equity, roulette systems, blackjack strategy, slot RTP, sports betting math, bankroll tools, and related utilities) plus editorial guides in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Danish.

We do not accept bets, hold player funds, issue odds as a bookmaker, or facilitate real-money wagering. Any “stake” field is a modelling input, not a transaction.

2. Educational purpose — no professional advice

Results are estimates based on the numbers you enter and simplified models. They are not financial, legal, tax, or gambling advice. House edge, table rules, bookmaker margins, and RNG implementations vary in the real world.

Do not use a calculator output as the sole basis for staking money. Consult licensed operators’ rules and, where relevant, qualified professionals.

3. Eligibility and local law

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the higher legal gambling age where you live.
  • You are solely responsible for complying with gambling, advertising, and consumer laws in your jurisdiction. Some countries restrict even informational gambling tools.
  • Access from a prohibited territory is at your own risk; we may block traffic that appears abusive or unlawful.

4. Responsible gambling

Gambling involves risk of loss. Never stake money you cannot afford to lose. Progression systems (Martingale, Fibonacci, Labouchere, Paroli, D’Alembert) do not remove house edge; they change variance and can accelerate ruin at table limits.

If play stops being entertainment, stop. Use national helplines and operator tools (deposit limits, reality checks, self-exclusion). SorteCalc is not a treatment service.

5. Accuracy and availability

We aim for correct formulas but do not warrant completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted uptime. Models may be updated without notice. Floating-point rounding and input mistakes can change outputs.

Maintenance, attacks, or infrastructure failure may take the site offline. We are not liable for missed “opportunities” during downtime.

6. Acceptable use

  • Do not overload, scrape in a way that degrades the service, probe for vulnerabilities, or attempt unauthorised access to the AidaWriter webhook or database.
  • Do not use the site to promote illegal gambling, underage play, or to misrepresent calculator results as guaranteed profit.
  • Do not copy the suite wholesale and present it as your own commercial product without permission.
  • Automated access must stay within reasonable rate limits. Contact us if you need a documented API.

7. Intellectual property

Site design, branding, calculator logic, and original editorial content are owned by SorteCalc or its licensors. A limited, revocable, non-transferable licence is granted to use the tools for personal, non-commercial evaluation.

You may link to public pages. You may not frame the site in a misleading way or remove attribution from redistributed excerpts.

8. User content and webhooks

If you submit feedback or articles via authorised channels, you grant us a licence to host, display, and moderate that content for the service. We may refuse or delete material that is unlawful, defamatory, or off-topic.

The AidaWriter endpoint is restricted (user-agent, IP allowlist). Abuse of that endpoint is a material breach of these terms.

9. Third-party sites

Guides may mention games, operators, or help organisations. Links are for convenience. We do not endorse any bookmaker or casino and are not responsible for third-party terms, bonuses, or payouts.

10. Liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SorteCalc and its contributors are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost money, lost data, or business interruption arising from use of the calculators or articles.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded (for example death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, where such rules apply).

If a jurisdiction does not allow limitation of implied warranties, some clauses may not apply to you; the rest remain in force.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify SorteCalc against claims arising from your misuse of the site, your violation of law, or your republication of results as guaranteed returns.

12. Changes and termination

We may change these terms, add or remove calculators, or discontinue the site. The “Last updated” date will change when the text is revised. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

We may suspend access without notice for abuse, legal risk, or operational reasons.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of the site, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence (including EU consumer rules where they apply).

If a clause is held unenforceable, the remainder stays effective.
